My name is Mike Harrison and as a freelance composer I needed a way of reaching potential customers. I set up mphmusic for that very purpose. The aim of mphmusic is to provide music for any media application; whether you are creating films, television programmes, websites, art installations or theatre/dance productions, I can compose the music for you.

About Myself

I started learning classical guitar at high school and now play to about grade 7 standard. As well as getting an A* in GCSE Music I was awarded the music prize. I went on to study Music Technology A-level at sixth form college. At university I studied a BA in Creative Music Technology for which I was awarded a 2.1. I am currently studying a Diploma in Music for the Media.

I am keen to get involved in collaborating with people working in the media industry. I can compose music in wide range of styles and genres but I am particularly talented at electroacoustic soundscapes, classical guitar, post/prog rock and anything atmospheric or experimental.
